The Crones are Tina Dozauer (vocals & guitar), Laima Haley (vocals & fiddle), and Roz Weller (upright bass) — three seasoned musicians who met jamming at bluegrass jams around Boulder, Colorado, and decided to do something just for the love of it.
Between us, we've played in bands across the Front Range for years — Orchard Creek, Rusty Gears, Planina, and more. But The Crones are something different: tight vocal harmonies, high-energy fiddle tunes, and a whole lot of joy in every song.
We play a mix of traditional and contemporary bluegrass with a touch of Americana — the kind of music that makes you tap your foot before you even realize you're doing it. Whether it's a wedding, a festival, a private party, or a local stage, we show up ready to play and ready to have fun.
